About this object
More than a clock.
CrystalStar keeps time the way a sculpture holds space. Its faceted resin surface is cast from a single mold, each plane angled to catch daylight or lamplight and send it travelling across the wall behind it.
The quartz movement sits at the geometric centre, invisible from the front. Twelve facets. One purpose it wears openly, another it keeps quiet.
